my career has gone through the roof but my waist line
has gotten bigger.. I miss my Training Room Experience.
I have yet to find a trainer out that even comes close
to
you guys. The training room needs to Franchise.....;o)

Jim,
You have been my inspiration. Since the first workout,
two years ago, you have given me so much more confidence
in myself. I can't believe how much stronger you have
made me. Your encouragement, support, and patience (and
of course your great sense of humor) during each and
every workout have definitely helped me in achieving my
goals. I would have never gotten the "abs of steel" that
I always wanted without your guidance and expertise. I
can't thank you enough for your dedication, enthusiasm,
and motivation during each session.

In January of 2004, the New Year's resolutions were no
different than any other year... getting "fit" was at
the top. Choosing to train came about because all other
options..the gym, walking, etc. had been tried and
abandoned. The "magic" of training is the scheduled
appointment, the intensity and the "one on one" personal
attention. The time and money investment is a huge
determent against falling back into unhealthy habits.
The results are visible. Patience is learned and focus
becomes a priority.
And so.... my journey to fitness began with Jim and a
thirty minute session.
Jim balances expectation with encouragement, flexibility
with a sense of humor; all these elements create the
perfect "recipe" for success. My life clearly changed
for the better on a wintry day in 2004.

I have to tell you how impressed I am with the Training
Room. You guys have a real talent for training people
and I was really surprised at how technically proficient
your clients were when I was there for the kettlebell
workshop. It's obvious you both have a passion for
helping people, and Greg is an awesome trainer as well.
I'll definitely be there training with you guys when I
come to the Jersey shores again. It is the place to
train!

started training with Mike in October, and within weeks
felt better than I had in a long time. Both Mike & Jim's
expertise and customized workouts are interesting and

Kettlebells and Sat. morning group workouts are the most
result producing fitness programs I've ever done. I'm 46
years old and have been weight training / exercising,
very consistently, for the past 35 years. I always
considered myself to be in the best shape I could be,
considering my age and all the injuries I've suffered
over the years. I was wrong. After only 7 weeks of
training (2 x/ week), my bodyfat dropped from 12.7% to
10.8% while I maintained the same bodyweight.

successfully avoided weights for many years- but after
joining the training room this past July I am "hooked"
on weight training. It has helped me both mind & body.
After a serious health issue I could no longer work out
aerobically the way I had been used to; I turned to the
training room for help and have found a great healthy
alternative in weight training. Jim & Mike have been
extremely knowledgable and helpful to me in helping me
reach my work out goals. I know the training room will
continue to grow and succeed and I plan to
continue my weight training with them even after I am
able to return to my original aerobic activities.

I truly believe that Jim saved my life. When I started
to workout last year, my blood pressure was very high!
Having a family history of heart disease, I knew that I
was on the same path. Since then and with help from 'THE
TRAINING ROOM' my blood pressure is normal and I lost
40lbs. Thanks guys and keep up the good work.

After driving around from gym to gym trying to determine
what would motivate me to stay focused on my health, my
answers came with The Training Room of Avon, NJ.
I realized that they would carefully pay attention to my
individual needs, concerns and goals and without a doubt
in just 10 weeks I felt stronger, more focused and with
a much clearer understanding of what I needed to do to
stay as fit as I can.
I am grateful to Mike especially for his guidance and
expertise. Not to mentioned it saved me 2 1/2 minutes
off of my time in my annual Mountain Bike race.
I would recommend the Training Room for anyone who wants
to stop jerking around with the gyms and get serious
about what it really is all about our health.

I started to train with you in February 2002. I weighed
233lbs. This week I weighed in
at 197.4lbs. I have not changed my eating habits one
bit. It is because of the training
room that I lost this weight. Also my energy level is
super. You guys are the best.
For anyone out there who is looking for professional
training, good advice, and good people to work with, THE
TRAINING ROOM IS THE PLACE TO GO !!!

Mike, It's designer Ed.
After having open heart surgery for a Aortic Valve
replacement @ 42, my Cardiologist suggested I start
working out after my recovery, not only to lower my
blood pressure naturally so I could eventually get off
the medications, but also to build strength back in my
chest with had gotten weak from the incision.
So I seeked out a personal trainer, (knowing I would
never do it on my own if someone wasn't pushing me) I
pass Mike and Jims place every day to get to work a
decided to stop in.
I was surprised by the friendly atmosphere, and never
once felt intimidated by what I though would be a bunch
of gym rats...with in a few days I started training with
Mike, and it's been 15 months since my first workout,
and I'm feeling great, my pressures down, and my
incision is now shadowed by somewhat of a muscular
chest.
I Never though I'd actually like getting up @ 6:00am
driving to Avon to be tortured for a half hour, and to
boot, paying for it.... but I must confess I do enjoy
it, Both Mike and Jim work as a team and it's evident
that they enjoy there work.

Just a
few good words for the Training Room...Coming from
someone who does not love to exercise, the Training Room
experience keeps me focused...If I was at a regular gym
on my own, I don't know that I would be inspired to
stick to it like I do with Mike and his training...He
also knows what he's doing, so I love the results! Mike,
Jim and Kathleen are terrific people, which also makes
it a nice place to go.

13 years ago I became a web developer. Since that
time I have turned to jelly because of sitting behind a
desk all day long.
My wife started using you
guys about a year ago, and after some arm-twisting got
me to join. I have tried on my own a number of
times to get in shape by joining a regular gym.
After about 2 weeks I would basically stop going but
continue paying the dues I had contracted for - so a big
waist of money for me with no results in sight. I
just was not suited to go into a gym and work out on my
own. I need the personal motivation - and the
expertise to know what to do and how much to do.
I have to say that having
a personal trainer at your Gym has made all the
difference in the world. I am always encouraged
before, during and after my sessions. More than
that I can see a difference in the way I feel and look.
I wish I had tried you
guys years ago. Thank you so much for your
commitment and expertise.

Mike
pushes me to where i did not think i could go anymore! I
was a division 1 wrestler, but got lazy and out of shape
after I was done competing. I have been training with
Russian kettlebells for 2 years now, and i have see a
weight loss and i now have the desire and ability to
consistently keep it off! I feel better every time that
i work out...even those 7:30 am beach workouts on
Saturday with mike and Jim!!!! I utilize kettlebell
training with my high school wrestlers and have seen a
dramatic increase in their strength and conditioning
levels! The sky is the limit with these 2 guys pushing
you! Nothing is better than getting evil with
kettlebells!

needed to meet middle age head on with more strength,
stamina and positive self image. I needed the fitness
routine to fit my schedule and make the most of my time.
I have been training with Mike for about six months and
can say that all these needs have been met and more. I
don't believe that I could have kept myself going on to
